We’re partnering with Montelobos Mezcal and Campari Academy to offer an exciting new program to eligible applicants. Apply by Tuesday 10/4 for a chance to learn from the best about all things Mezcal. One hundred eligible applicants will be chosen to receive top-notch virtual education courses spanning agave diversity, production techniques, flavor profiles, mezcal history, Oaxacan culture and more!


Following the virtual education portion, fourteen stellar students will be sent to Noche De Lobos, a 3-day event curated by Mezcal Montelobos in Oaxaca, Mexico. Noche De Lobos involves three full days of fanfare focused on the history, creation and use of this diverse spirit. Festivities include guided city tours, a traditional Comparsas Parade and Candlelit Dinner, an immersive educational experience at Montelobos Palenique, a traditional lunch served at the agave field, and a Day of the Dead celebration chock-full of storytelling, arts and culture, among near-countless other draws.


Completing the application does not guarantee acceptance. For your application to be considered, you must meet the eligibility requirements below:


  • At least 21 years of age
  • USA resident
  • Valid U.S. passport holder
  • Currently employed as a bartender, bar manager or bar owner
  • Must participate in virtual educational requirements between Oct. 11 and Oct. 13, 2022
  • Must complete multiple choice/short essay test administered Oct. 18
  • Must be available to travel to Mexico from Nov. 7 through Nov. 10

The first 100 scholarships be awarded on a first come first serve based on those who meet those qualifications
