Description

Focus on Health and Another Round Another Rally are excited to launch this year’s Tales of the Cocktail Professional Development Scholarship Program. This program is designed to sponsor bartender professionals to attend Tales of the Cocktail by covering their travel and lodging for the week, while also providing them with professional development programming like press, marketing, and media trainings; professional headshots; resume review, and more. This program was created to highlight and support bartenders who often don’t get these opportunities for networking and education.

BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, New Orleans residents,  those living in tertiary markets, and other marginalized groups are highly encouraged to apply.

Scholarship program includes:

  • 5-night stay at the Celestine Hotel
  • Flight stipend to New Orleans 
  • Professional Headshots
  • Resume Review
  • Press, Media, and Marketing training
  • Financial Literacy Training
  • Leadership, Mentorship and DEI training
  • Welcome Dinner in New Orleans
  • Tales of the Cocktail Tickets
  • Speed Rack Tickets 
  • Career Design Education with Asthyra

Eligibility requirements: 

  • US Resident
  • Currently working in the hospitality industry as a bartender
  • Are 21 years or older
