For the first time we’re launching our Skylight Hospitality Mentorship program in Puerto Rico! This program features Latina educators and mentors to provide professional development for Puerto Rican industry members.
Skylight is a five week mentorship and education program created to uplift and empower women, femme, and non-binary bartenders in Puerto Rico. This initiative connects motivated hospitality professionals with accomplished mentors, some of the most respected figures in the industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience and attend educational sessions on cocktail creation, bar management, equity & inclusion, personal branding, and more. Each awardee is also carefully matched with a mentor to foster growth, guidance and real- world insight. The program culminates in a cocktail social in San Juan, PR to celebrate the accomplishments of our mentees.
We’re excited to announce that helping facilitate and host this year's Skylight cohort is Skylight Alumni, Crystal Rios! If you’re ready to grow your voice and vision behind the bar, apply now and join the Skylight community.
Awardees of this program will be paired directly with a mentor from a group of prominent women in the industry. Awardees will also receive access to educational programming covering a range of critical topics from cocktail creation, bar management, ED&I, personal brand building and more! This program will culminate in a cocktail social to showcase the hard work of our mentors and mentees.
